I am a photo-historian working as a research fellow at the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague where I also lead the CVF – Photography Research Centre and curate the IAH photographic collection. My research centres around 19th- and early 20th-century photography.
Recently, I have been focusing on research into the arrival and development of paper photography in Central Europe. So far, the research has resulted into three articles and a monograph titled Inventors, Pirates, Epigones.
